In our fourth year, DevIgnition is a confernece for and by the members of the Mid-Atlantic Software developer's community. We will have approximately 15 technical presentations (first presentation is a 9:30 AM), featuring expert software developers. Each presentation will be about 30 minutes long. Venue
DevIgnition will be held at the amazing AOL HQ Conference Center, a fantastic small venue for both the speakers and the attendees.
Food and Drink
DevIgnition will provide continental breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
Video Recording
We plan to record all the presentations, and make the videos available online. A few people from the crowd might get on the videos, too. So, if you are skipping work, wear a disguise.
Wireless Access and Power
The venue promises excellent wireless access (they hold many high tech events, so they know what we need). There are numerous electric plugs located along each wall of the venue. We will also provide power strips (if possible) to many of the tables, but not all of them. So, power outlets should be available, but charge you battery beforehand, just in case you can't reach a plug for a few hours.
Cancellation and Transfers
Because of the high costs of putting on an event like DevIgnition, we will not offer refunds. All sales are final.
However, transfers are possible, we ask that you please send an email to registration at rubynation.com, include the name and email address of the new attendee. We will be checking tickets at the door, and we will have a check in sheet.
In the unlikely event of cancellation of the event, the liability of the DevIgnition conference is limited to the return of paid registration fees.
